Who am I?

I'm a rather nerdy young man from Sydney, Australia. I have rather bad social anxiety to begin with, but I can be quite talkative once the proverbial ice is broken. I also have autism and ADHD.

My hobbies and interests include, among other things:

• Historical Linguistics, especially of the Slavic languages
• Conlanging (inventing languages, such as Tolkien did)
• Mathematics and its history (slide rules, log/trig tables, prosthaphaeresis, &c)
• Computer Science and its history (computer architecture, language design, &c)
• Retro-computing and retro-programming
• Traditional (chemical, non-digital) photography
• Listening to anthems and marching songs
• Doctor Who, Star Trek, and the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy
• Traditional card games and their history
• Non-computer old technology: VHS tapes, LPs, audio cassettes, open reel tape, and so forth
• Mechanical clocks and watches
• Trains and other railway-related subjects, both large and model
• Fountain and dip pens
